Biographical Overview

Something that stands out about Brenda is her childlike faith, gentle spirit and heart of compassion for people. She carries the peace and mercy of the Lord and has a tremendous capacity to be present with and hear people. She loves to see them encounter the love and healing of the Lord. She is very gifted and anointed as a ministry facilitator and in imparting to and training new facilitators.
As a little girl, Brenda experienced a call from the Lord to be a part of spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus throughout the earth. After spending most of her growing up years in Indonesia as a missionary kid, she pursued a degree in Christian counseling at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene TX. After graduating and spending a year teaching English in China, she completed a 4 year degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

During those seminary years (1993 – 1997), she met Holy Spirit in a more personal way through the ministry of James Ave Baptist Church and fell in love with Jesus all over again. At the same time, she fell in love with and married her husband, Mark Snider. They have been serving in churches in Fort Worth since that time, he as an anointed worship leader who loves to encounter the manifest presence of the Lord, and she in children’s ministry, discipleship, administration, and inner healing ministry. They were blessed with 3 beautiful children in 2000, 2002 and 2004.

When Brenda met Becky Castle in 2005, she was completely drawn into the message of the Exchange because it was the Gospel she had always loved, but it was so fresh and alive! Her life personally became healed and transformed as she encountered the Lord and let Him into her own wounded places. Over the next few years, she became trained as an exchange facilitator and stepped into facilitating ministry sessions with people. She loves watching the Lord show up and lead every time she meets with someone who is willing to encounter Him.

Brenda oversees the facilitator program in Fort Worth and serves as a facilitator in personal Exchange ministry sessions. She also helps to train facilitators in Fort Worth.
Brenda loves to watch and cheer as her kids participate in sports, theater, and music. Being team coordinator while Mark coaches any of the kids in YMCA basketball brings her a lot of joy. She loves to find great bargains and her heart is super happy when she gets to go grocery shopping at Whole Foods or Trader Joes. She and Mark love to engage in a good competitive card game with friends regularly! Her favorite treat is dark chocolate and favorite vacation place is the beach.
